Proposed Itinerary

  • Day 01
    Guwahati - Cherrapunjee (190 km | 5.5 hrs) - Welcome to Northeast India! Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station (morning arrival recommended), meet & greet by our representative and begin your scenic drive to Cherrapunjee. Enroute, stop at the breathtaking Umiam Lake (Barapani), Meghalaya’s largest man-made lake surrounded by pine-covered hills. Proceed towards Sohra with a halt at Duwan Sing Syiem Viewpoint for panoramic valley views. Evening at leisure amidst misty landscapes. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
  • Day 02
    Cherrapunjee Sightseeing - After breakfast, explore the dramatic landscapes of Cherrapunjee, once known as the wettest place on Earth. Visit Seven Sisters (Nohsngithiang) Falls, Nohkalikai Falls (India’s tallest plunge waterfall), Mawsmai Cave, Arwah Cave, Ramakrishna Mission. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
  • Day 03
    Cherrapunjee - Mawlynnong - Dawki - Shillong​ - Early breakfast and check out from hotel. Drive to Mawlynnong, famously known as Asia’s Cleanest Village. Explore immaculate village pathways, Khasi rural lifestyle. Trek to nearby Living Root Bridge at Riwai Village, a bio-engineered natural wonder grown over decades. Continue to Dawki to witness the magical Umngot River, known for its glass-like transparency where boats appear to float in air. Enjoy optional country boat ride (extra cost). Later drive to Shillong, the cultural capital of Meghalaya. Overnight stay in Shillong.
     
  • Day 04
    Shillong Local Sightseeing - After breakfast, explore Shillong’s charming attractions like Elephant Falls, Ward’s Lake, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Shillong Golf Course. Optional visit: Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays & select holidays). Evening free to explore Police Bazaar for shopping and local cuisine. Overnight stay in Shillong.
     
  • Day 05
    Shillong - Guwahati Departure - After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport for onward journey.
